Worked in Skyscanner’s Identity platform making sure that all users could create, access to their account and update their data across the globe. In my time in Identity I worked in projects such us moving our customer’s data from a third party authorisation provider (Auth0) to our in-house database, integrated with third parties like PerimeterX to add bot projection to our public apis and deprecated different legacy systems in order to keep our platform secure. In my time at Skyscanner I was the go-to person for many infrastructure deployments across the Identity space and I helped standardised the deployments of all our existing and new microservices.
My biggest project at Skyscanner was creating a standard for how the traveller’s identity would be validated and passed across all services on our migration to GRPC. This project was affecting all services across Skyscanner and I worked closely with our production platform tribe to ensure this transition was as simple and secure as possible.
